Dovi's Digest Volume 5
A weekly newsletter for all your intellectual, spiritual and physical needs
Hello Everyone, and welcome to Volume 5 of Dovi’s Digest.
Once again, we’ve had a tumultuous few days. Most importantly professional football in England is making a return, as well as more mundane subjects like tell-all books about the US president, nuclear powers coming to blows (twice!), attempted murder of bloggers by state actors and a few notable deaths.
In a week full of border spats, I decided to include an article about crossing borders. Not because its poetic or apt, but rather because it’s a damn cool story and the aforementioned events jogged my memory. In addition, we have the ultimate introvert, the ramifications of buried treasure and a few more.
I received 4 correct answers to last week’s brainteaser, so well done to Kevin Levy, Norman, Bianca Shulman (again!) and Dr Stan Wolberg. The answer is below.
I’ve made this week’s one a bit more difficult as I’m trying to save myself some typing.
Thank you for the referrals this week, we’re still not in those magic triple digits, but I believe in you and know that you can help get us there!
As always, keep those articles coming!
All the best
Dovi

The Strange & Curious Tale of the Last True Hermit
For nearly thirty years, a phantom haunted the woods of Central Maine. Unseen and unknown, he lived in secret, creeping into homes in the dead of night and surviving on what he could steal. To the spooked locals, he became a legend—or maybe a myth. They wondered how he could possibly be real. Until one day last year, the hermit came out of the forest.
